Did Something

It was a day late, but hey, I still moved.

some 60 lb squats, some 20 lb rows, and some 35 lb lat pulldowns.

Enough to make me mildly creaky, mostly my core, today.

It's practice for moving, heh.S

I will probably Do Something tomorrow.

My right knee has been tender since maybe the day before my last post. I first noticed pain in the morning.

Why doesn't my body respond normally to rest and not irritate itself?

I know, I know. I manifest stress physically. It's a really sucky part of my temperament. Stress becomes inflammation, and I have had no shortage of stress over the last several years.

Even so, I need to figure out how to overcome it.

So I worked myself to exhaustion (work work, not working out) Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I rested yesterday and today. Which means tomorrow I will Do Something.

Plus, got to build deadlift strength for when I move in two weeks :D

It's easier to run

7 minutes running, mostly on grass, with puppy (8 minutes total). And a handful of half-assed 60 lb squats after.

I haven't run since the last post, and over the last several days my hips have been getting tighter and creakier. How the frick do I have a body that hurts more when I rest? <sigh> I'm just weak. This will pass. This must pass.

Surely strength is the cure.
