After much mental back-and-forth, I have decided to track monthly weights like I did for several years before I started gaining again last winter.
I didn't weigh officially (morning, empty) on January first, but my weight has stabilized and I've been checking occasionally, so I'm comfortable going with 152.
I think it's important - for now at least - to stay aware because my avoidance of the scale is because I'm gaining weight from emotional eating. I can't let myself go numb to it.
I also don't want to live for the daily number. Plus it's mid-winter, and I keep the apartment colder at night. Stripping and standing on cold glass is not high on my preferred activities list!
