Surprise!

I worked up the nerve to weigh again a few days ago and got 137.6.

I'm posting the weight since I honestly thought I'd crossed north into the 140s

I'm still furious at myself for gaining, but the reality is that the lowest I settled at this spring was 127. I have gained 10 pounds. 10 pounds, not 60. 10 pounds can be lost again. I will get a handle on this; I will be ok.

If I weigh again before Sept 1, I don't plan to post it. I probably won't track intake til then, either. I've been focusing on increasing my fiber intake and buying appealing, convenient good for home to stop my horrendous and EXPENSIVE restaurant binge habit that has developed over the last 1-2 months. Im making progress.

My digestive tract has kicked back into gear, which I think accounts for the weight change. Few things feel worse than having days upon days of waste inside you ::: shudder:::

Bottomless is, I'm still struggling but things are getting a smidge better.

Move It!

I have a new toy! I got a Garmin Forerunner 15 to track my runs, and I took it for a spin on the trails at City Park today. Also did 5 squats and 10 lunges (5 each leg) holding 20 pounds, as well as 5 bentover rows each arm holding 10 pounds, and 5 incline pushups. It's pathetically small, but I need to start small.

I get my apartment on the 27th. Eating will be easier then. I never brought most of my dishes to this house and I refuse to use much besides the microwave because K lives like an animal and everything (stove, counters, sink... everything) is filthy.

I want to get back on low carb no later than September 1 to get my appetite back in check. I am hungry ALL the time, and low carb helps with that.

No other specific plans atm.

My stupid reproductive tract finally started something. Really, do I need 3 days of roasting/chills and an entire week of abdominal symptoms beforehand?? I think I've lost some water bloating because of that. I'm eating too much, but doing better on fiber consumption, so things are maaaybe starting to sort out on that front.

8/4/14 - 140.0 - Day 1

I had the leftovers of yesterday's Papa John's excursion for "breakfast."

Fiber Choice 30 (notice how even with my "yeah, fiber ftw!" stuff yesterday I didn't have anything high fiber? Idiot...)

I don't know what I want for the rest of the day except to have some of my fresh veggies and to get to bed early. I'm back down to 50 pounds lost, ffs. This has to stop.

I work the next 3 days and catsit for WS for 4. I've asked her to have fresh meat & cheese on hand, and she always stocks up on Diet Coke when I'm going to be over. Maybe the change of environment and busy days will help shake me out of this nonstop binge loop.

What in HELL is wrong with my body? I can't get my digestive tract going. Don't get me wrong, it's not like literally nothing has happened for 10 days... But nowhere near normal. My belly is huge and I am uncomfortable all the time.

I've been pondering the possible causes. Med changes? Haywire ovary? Diet changes? All are possibly contributing, but I've been paying extra attention to fiber for several days, hence the chili and Fiber Choice. The Fiber Choice will continue regardless of food. I've also bought a fresh veggie & dip tray but so far haven't been able to make myself ear it. My metformin was probably related to a major episode of "when's the last time I pooped?" a while back but once things got going, they kept going. No luck with that yet.

Update: VICTORY. Things are moving. Now I just need to keep them moving. Goal method: Fiber, fiber, fiber.

The scale reflects said movement. Tomorrow's weight will be a big change.

I don't even want to know what that adds up to. I am majorly sore from lifting and moving things yesterday. Yes, it involved moving some heavy objects, but not THAT heavy. I am weak and I hate it.

August 1 (In which Tempest is full of shit)

August weight 139. Truly frightening.

I took 3 Senokot last night and started today with coffee on an empty stomach and FINALLY had some success.

I really want to be doing low carb rn but it requires more effort than I currently have the energy for.
Hopefully in September.

For now I need to increase the fiber and stop the fricking emotional eating.

And start lifting. Also will probably be September.
