It wasn't intentional; my scale battery died. I alternate between brief moments of intense panic and thoughts of "Why the eff do I need to know?" I know I have gained a few pounds. My last readings were 128-130 daytime. My measuring tape does not require batteries, and it has confirmed my increased tummy fluff at 29".
I will live. I mean, part of me is panicking and thinks I'm absolutely going to DIEEEE, but I'm trying to tell that part of me to shut up.
I want to get stronger, and getting leaner won't show on the scale.
I'm going to try to stay off the scale for March, and rely on the measuring tape. I feel huuuge compared to when I was waking up with a 27" waist, and there is a noticeable difference in my appearance. If I am getting leaner, my waist will shrink. I will love a 27" waist whether it comes at 120 pounds or 130. Maybe I'll start adding a waist measurement to my monthly weigh-ins after this.
Accidental No-Weigh March? Here we go.
