After a meal with pancakes and fried potatoes, I feel too sick to be considering pie. Even to go.

I think I've got it out of my system for now. I'll go to the Y today and swim to make up for it.

Howww am I still peeing out ketones when I pretty much had an 80 g carb supper last night?! No idea.

Waist is creeping under the 29" mark.

More apartment hunting with Charlie today, so a meal out may derail me a little. Friendship > food, right? Right. Right. Remind me later.

Apartment hunting rescheduled due to Charlie needing to help his gram move, so I have been independently misbehaving:

Morning waist 29" the last two mornings.

Doctor's office clothed weight 62.8 kg, which comes to 138 lb. adjusted for clothing, that puts me at about 136. It's not good, but it's better than 141.4.

I have now been without a scale for three weeks. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I bought some Ketostix and I've been checking ketones at an absurd frequency. Part of it is the novelty, I guess. I didn't really expect any ketosi a at 100 g of carbs a day.

Slowly, surely.

I was starting to get discouraged, but as I stop being a low carb human garbage disposal, my waist has started to shrink. Little by little.

I'm making some chicken  chili and I sliced a finger on a can lid :( I don't think I need stitches, but the cut, the bleeding, washing the cut, and trying to pull it open so I could tell how deep it is kinda took away my appetite. Not sure if I'll eat any tonight.

Bought some Ketostix and I'm positive for urine ketones, so I'm on the right track. It may also be responsible for my nausea that started yesterday :/

I suspect some ingredient from the above foods was a little off, most likely the bacon or pizza sauce. I've cleared out everything remotely aged in my fridge, as my tummy is a little upset and I'd rather not repeat the crime. It's not terrible, though.

I've got a sugar free Jello with whipped cream concoction setting in the fridge. I'm going to try to layer a few colors/flavors but I've never done it before, so fingers crossed...

CP - The frozen coconut has a waxy mouth feel that is a particular hate of mine, but it is DIVINE thawed and soft. I think it needs a little cinnamon, too.

Today will make a full week of successful low-carb?! YAY.

I have definitely not seen or felt any physical changes, but I have been eating vast quantities of the foods I'm documenting, and it's almost all extremely high calorie.

I keep getting THIIIS CLOSE to getting out and moving, and not making it.

Biggest hurdle is that the AC is out in my car, and it is getting hot. Daytime highs are in the 80s, and on a sunny day that makes my car an oven. I'm sick and shaky by the time I get anywhere. The idea of working out when you're already overheated is appalling.

I work Monday, so should be able to demand a proper conversation with my mechanic sometime on Tuesday and get a fix date then.

*Pour cream, add cocoa, whip, eat. Or freeze then eat. Is delish. Today I added the same amount of sugar yesterday, but also mixed in two tablespoons of coconut flour on impulse. I forgot I had coconut cream :P Oh well, next time... and there WILL be a next time. It is rich and chocolatey, and it takes a moment for the full chocolate flavor to hit your tongue, so it begs to be eaten slowly, not wolfed down.

Breakfast:
Not one, but TWO low carb crepes. They're basically giant fat bombs, but they are delicious and comforting. This is only day three, and comfort eating is allowed as long as I stay within the carb limit. I added chocolate chips, cream cheese, and whipped cream. 35 g carbs.

I'm not sure if I've made an official announcement, but it's my usual max of 100 g net carbs daily.

Our Goodwills have 50% off all used merchandise the first Saturday of each month... Goodwill Hunting Saturday is this saturday. I haven't done one in a while and I really, really wanted to be back at or near my winter size. Too late now.

But I CAN do restricted calorie low carb Thurs & Fri to get a few pounds off. I know I wouldn't lose a lot of real weight in two days, but I could get off 2-5 pounds*, and that would still shrink me a little for the purpose of testing how clothes fit.

*I don't have a scale and don't intend to weigh, but getting my waist back down from 30" would be hella nice. I'll be able to tell weight is coming off, even if I don't know how much.

If they're snug, I'll still feel how they fit my proportions overall. If I can't get them on, that's a different story.

New day... New month (final)

I really bombed yesterday. There was chocolate cake in the break room.

Very, very good chocolate cake.

I know where I'm getting my next one from when I'm allowed to have it.

I ate some. I ate a lot.

I started the day with low carb stuff but I forget what I ate before the cake.

After work I had a Hardee's Frisco burger, a small fry, and a 3 piece chicken taquitos.

TODAY

I started with a low carb turkey & American wrap 15 g carbs

It was a hellacious day; I didn't have time for a proper meal break so I chugged a carton of milk so I wouldn't collapse (2% always; skim is evil and not dairy) 13 g

Steamed broccoli with American and Swiss cheese and butter 17 g carbs

51 g carbs

I'm dead tired so I'm sure I'll get to sleep without bombing tonight. At most I'll have a few squares of dark chocolate (~20 g) or maybe a giant spoonful of peanut butter (~12).

Edit: I did both. PB 12 g and 3 squares Dove dark chocolate (it has to be 3 squares; don't question it) 13 g (76 g carbs total)
